More active guests can make use of our on-site indoor fitness studio, with personal training sessions available, followed by the option to unwind with a facial or massage in the bespoke therapy room.
Please note that we live next door in the main farm house and share the land with a small community of resident cats, who roam freely outdoors, 2 horses and our dog Dottie. All of the cats are rescues and are used to a quiet, respectful environment. Some are shy and prefer to keep their distance, while others are very social and may choose to spend time nearby, often claiming a sunny spot on a lounger. The cats are not used to being handled and choose if and when they interact.
For cleanliness and the well being of the cats the cottage itself is kept cat-free at all times. While this setting may not suit those uncomfortable around animals, guests who appreciate nature and animal life often find it a very special place to stay.

What a perfect place - Jules and Paul offer Rest and Relaxation and that is certainly what we found. Could not fault a thing within the property. Beds comfy, sheets and towels clean and smelling fresh. Toilets and showers immaculate and in perfect working order. The showers are pretty powerful. The kitchen and BBQ area are very well equipped, you will need for nothing. Swimming pool is clean and so so refreshing to swim in and bigger than it looks in the pictures. This is the first time we have stayed next to the host. Usually it would be a private detached villa. Any fears we may have had were easily forgotten. After a quick chat and formalities we never saw either Jules or Paul for the first week of our 12 night stay. One of the best things they said to us was to be ourselves around the property. If guests are quite they feel they need to be quite. Play your music dance and sing, it’s all fine and it’s enjoyable for the hosts to hear others having a great time. Rent this place you will not be disappointed. We weren’t and we’re quite fussy. We spent half an hour chatting to the hosts before going home about how great our stay was, this shows you the level of care and attention Paul and Jules put into the property. It’s all about the little touches. Perfecto!
